The Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts organized an introductory lecture about the faculty members of the Comparative Literature minor on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the college building in Sabah Al-Salem University City. This was followed by a discussion session with the professors of Comparative Literature.

Dr. Abdullah Bazie delivered a lecture on the academic content of the minor specialization, introducing students to its main academic themes and course requirements. This was followed by an entertaining activity where students practically applied concepts from the field. The activity was presented by Dr. Haya Al-Farhan and Dr. Dina Al-Awadhi.

A discussion session was also held, bringing together students and Comparative Literature professors. Dr. Haya Al-Farhan, Dr. Dina Al-Awadhi, and Dr. Nasser Al-Buraiki moderated by Dr. Abdullah Bazie. During the session, students raised questions and inquiries about the minor, and an open discussion took place about their academic aspirations and future.

These sessions foster a sense of unity within the department and help clarify academic paths for students, making their educational journey an enjoyable one and helping them avoid unsuitable choices that do not align with their interests and orientations.
