About the Office
The Office of the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs includes the Guidance and Counseling Office, under which three main units fall:
- Student Counseling Unit
- Registration and Class Schedule Unit
Student Affairs Unit
Which also participates in several committees such as:
The Class Schedule Preparation Committee, The Cheating Cases Committee, and The Internal Student Affairs Committee.
The office aims to provide guidance and counseling services to students that support them in their academic journey. It also reviews requests for enrollment suspension and withdrawal from the current semester, responds to student inquiries, receives medical reports for students with special needs from relevant authorities to forward them to academic departments, coordinates with departments in preparing class schedules, organizes and participates in orientation meetings, as well as in annual exhibitions and the annual graduation ceremony.
