Dean's MessageThe College of Arts is considered one of the first colleges in Kuwait University and was established in 1966, and it plays a significant role in the higher education organization as an educational institution whose goal is to graduate scientifically qualified cadres to play its role in building scientific minds. The College of Arts is one of the pioneering colleges in providing the best distinguished graduates who can carry the message of knowledge and work. The College of Arts always seeks to establish complementary relationships between itself and various civil society institutions in order to achieve the balance between the community’s need for graduates and the outcomes of the educational process.

About Dean’s Office
The Deanship of the College of Arts entails full awareness of all matters related to university affairs— both academic and non-academic—and periodically revisiting certain issues for review and accountability. It is responsible for identifying and addressing obstacles in the educational process, reevaluating academic plans and curricula, and strengthening the relationship between the university and .the community as one of the essential pillars of the academic institution.
The Dean of the College manages and oversees the academic, administrative, and financial affairs of the college in accordance with the rules, regulations, and decisions in force at the university. Under the Dean’s direction, the Dean’s Office—through its technical and administrative staff and various committees (both permanent and temporary)—assists in implementing and activating the overall goals of the college.
It also handles secretarial responsibilities for both permanent and temporary Staff at the Dean’s Office college committees and follow up on implementing recommendations and decisions from the following committees:
