A delegation from Kuwait University participated in the First Global Youth Forum, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from February 18 to 20, 2025. 

The forum discussed key regional issues that fall under UNESCO’s objectives, with broad participation from youth and stakeholders in sustainable development, education, and culture. 

The participating delegation included Latifa Ahmed Khaddada, a student from the College of Arts, Department of English Language and Literature, and a member of the UNESCO club, along with Abrar Al-Kandari, the supervisor of the UNESCO club and Acting Head of the Cultural Section at the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities.
