The Cultural Committee in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature organized a lecture titled “The Prophetic Lineage from Adnan to the Master of the Two Worlds: Stories and Correcting Paths” as part of the cultural season activities. The lecture was presented by Dr. Ashraf Hafiz, and the session was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Abdeltawab . During the lecture, Dr. Ashraf Hafiz mentioned that the science of lineage is a deep and eloquent sea, comparable to poetry. 

He explained that lineage determines the poet’s dialect and the history of the Arabs, pointing out that the Quraysh tribe is only known through this science.

 He also noted that the Prophet (PBUH) used to advise people to know their lineage to strengthen family ties . At the end, the head of the Cultural Committee, Prof. Dr. Nouraya Al-Roumi, honored Dr. Ashraf Hafiz for his continuous and active participation in the cultural season.
